An estimated 30‘000 hunting dogs are senselessly tortured and assassinated at the end of the season? Most hunters don’t even shoot the Podencos or Galgos (spanish breed similar to greyhounds). They abandon them or even hang them with a wire to the next tree, the back legs of the dogs still touching the ground! 

This way the poor animals suffocate themselves after several hours of extreme suffering.

Or the dogs die dehydrated attached to a tree or rock. There is probably no way to perverted to kill a hunting dog... some were thrown from very high bridges, some tied to the train tracks, others found with a plastic bag over their head on the highway!

The hunters have a big lobby in Spain and many famous actors, singers, politicians and even the King are passionate hunters. With the age of 14, children are allowed to go hunting and in most of the families here in Spain, one or more men go hunting.
